It's a USB MTK chipset. Can't remember the brand.

Why not use a used notebook with a 7" 2-DIN touchscreen? Secure the notebook permantly under the seat. Personally I tried Nroute & Mapking (PC) & found Mapking is much better in terms to simplicity & GUI. Also Mapking can operate in 3D mode too :) I used a permanent carpc setup. With the audio sign...

Can't remenber. But I think it's about $600/-. It's actually a HU as well, FM/AM, USB, 3 x RCA inputs, 1 x VGA, 4 x 45W amp & more functions. But I only use the VGA input now as I prefer my audio going direct to my 4 ch. amplifier
